Best, lightest glad donuts in the state. So good and not oily at all! The buttermilk bars were also good.
Yum. Great service. Best cinnamon rolls. Ordered online and been to the shop. Both great experiences.
Sugar rush! Delicious! Square! This was a stop on our "Footloose" journey. We went from Park City to Payson to volunteer with 6° and see Kevin Bacon. Mission accomplished! On the way home we made one more Footloose stop at the Lehi Rollermills. AND then I discovered that the Lehi Bakery is just down the road. I'm a doughnut person, so we had to go! They have a long cue set up, but maybe we went at just the right time as we didn't even have to wait. We were greeted upon entering and asked if they could help us. We needed a little more time and that was fine for them. We ended up leaving with 7 items. Would I drive from Park City to Lehi for doughnuts? Not on a regular basis. Would I stop by Lehi Bakery if I'm in the area? Yep!
The donuts we got were super yummy! But, we got them right before they closed and they were pretty dried out. I can tell they would have been much more delicious had we got them first thing in the morning. I wonder if something could be done to keep the donuts fresher longer, but I probably won't be back here anytime close to closing again. The staff was nice and helpful, and the location is really cute! There's nowhere to eat inside but there are a few tables right outside. Lots of things to try and even gluten free options too!
Love this place. Be ready for a long line as this spot is hopping. But the donuts are all super delicious. I had heard of the square donuts forever and decided it was time. I really loved their glazed donuts. They are a perfect balance of dough and icing and the icing is not overpowering like some.
Face it, I came for the square donuts. I know they have other nice things, but it's about the square glazed. Soft, pillowy, not overly glazed, try eating one without the second following so fast you think that last bite in your hand is the first one still. I picked some up for a meeting, the crowd was appreciative. Holes were ok, nothing on the same level as the squares. The surprise was the maple bacon bar staring at me. The worker confirmed my look of astonishment and I got one solely for scientific purposes. Delicious although it's kind of a pain to eat since the bacon is just sprinkled on the top of the frosting. It would be better in the dough or embedded in the frosting. Most of it fell off in the eating process. Service was good. I did seem to annoy one worker by being there and interrupting her conversation with the worker who was trying to serve me. The worker serving me was excellent. Their new storefront is nice. It looks good and I hope they are successful. I love their donuts!
Is the Lehi bakery one of the finest donut spots in Utah? Why, yes it is. Here are my go-tos: Square donut. (Duh) Old fashioned. (My favorite) Buttermilk bar. (Obviously) Cinnamon crumb Maple bar. (for serious) You really can't go wrong, though. Oh, BTW. Don't be a goofus and go here at like 5pm. You can't judge a donut shop by its 5pm pastries. Luke any bakery, go in the morning when everything is warm and fresh. Amen.
We have been coming here since we moved to Eagle Mountain 12 yrs ago. Best square donut ever! In fact I don't even really like donuts but I really like these. I never minded it's original tiny, cramped storefront -- and obviously this bakery was very popular and legendary with the locals. It's a small local business right on the Main Street with unique tasting donuts and dinner rolls. Another fave of mine is the strawberry cream cheese streusel. They recently tore down their original tiny bakery and renovated and now it's bigger and brighter and newer inside! I love that they have more than one register now, so during the busy morning time... the line goes by faster.
So many choices around for donuts but this local business is obviously a favorite. And since there is only one, it's also unique. My family discovered this shortly after moving to Utah County. Home of the best Square Donut. My wife loves the original glazed one but they now make them in different flavors such as peanut butter frosting! They have lots of donuts to choose from but be aware they go fast! Friday and Saturday mornings are very busy. They recently renovated and it's bigger and brighter inside now. The line doesn't have to go out the door anymore since there is more room inside but I'm sure some days it will still go that far too. But the line now goes fast, they have multiple registers now compared to only one before. They also sell rolls and breads and special order cakes.
Who would've thought that all you had to do to perfect a glazed donut was change the shape? Not me, but I'm convinced they've created the perfect donut at the bakery in Lehi. It was a little tough to get in around 10am because of how busy it was. A great sign, for sure. Located on Main Street in Lehi, there isn't much room for parking other than the small, shared, adjacent parking lot. That's the only complaint I have. The employees were warm and welcoming. I was slightly worried when I got in the line that went out the door, but I was to the front in minutes. The gal taking my order was kind enough to explain all their different donuts and pastries to me. It's not a huge space because it's an older building, but it works. After nearly drooling all over the counter, I settled on an old-fashioned donut and a dozen glazed. They were incredible. The best way I can think to describe their donuts is a King's Hawaiian roll and a Krispy Kreme donut having a baby that inherited the best traits from each. You can order online a day in advanced for pickup. That's what I'd recommend if your planning on getting some near a holiday or major sporting event. You won't be disappointed.
